Missouri Cannabis Tax Refund: How to Claim Your High Profile Credit 

What You Need to Know

If you’ve purchased cannabis at a dispensary in Missouri over the past couple of years, you may be eligible for a refund and High Profile is making it easy to claim your share. 

Here’s what’s going on, what it means for you, and how to take advantage. 

What Happened? 

Certain Missouri counties previously imposed a 3% local tax on dispensary sales. That tax was later ruled unconstitutional by the Missouri Supreme Court, and the Missouri Department of Revenue has since rescinded it.  

Under Missouri law, when sales taxes are refunded, those funds are returned to the retailer—not directly to customers.

What High Profile Is Doing About It 

At High Profile, we believe in doing right by our customers. 

That’s why we’ve made the decision to voluntarily share a portion of our tax refund with eligible adult-use customers who made purchases during the affected time period.  

It’s our way of saying thank you, and making sure our community benefits from this outcome.  

Who Is Eligible? 

You may be eligible if you made adult-use purchases at the following High Profile Missouri locations between October 1, 2023 and July 31, 2025*:

• Branson 
• Chesterfield 
• Cape G. 
• Columbia 
• Mountain Grove
• St. Charles 
• St. Louis 
• St. Robert 

*Mountain Grove eligibility begins 05/01/2024 and Chesterfield eligibility ends 9/12/2025. Additional terms and conditions may apply. 

How to Claim Your Share 

We’ve kept the process simple and secure: 

1. Visit the official refund page: HERE  
2. Upload a digital copy of your receipt(s)  
3. Once verified, approved customers will receive loyalty points through our High Rollers loyalty program to use towards in-store purchases. *  

Most requests are processed in approximately 30 days. 

*Must be a double opted-in loyalty member to receive.
